Bulk fertilizers are loaded on ships, sea containers and trucks at the terminal. The company has installed two containers stuffing stations with a total capacity of 240 containers (TEU) per day which results possibility of an annual loading capacity over 45 thousand containers. Subsequently, the containers are transported for loading on ships through other specialised container terminals of Klaipeda port. In addition, the Company uses powerful wheel loaders to load auto transport-dumpers.

Bulk fertilizer packaging into bags and big bags

In addition to the stevedoring, the terminal also provides other services, such as fertilizer packaging in bags and big bags, marking, palletising, loading into containers and delivering to the container terminals in Klaipeda Port. The company operates two lines for fertilizer packaging; 20 to 50kg to the bags and 500 to 1200kg to the big bags. A total of 90 containers (TEU) and/or 80 trucks are bagged per day. The terminal also load a tented or refrigerator-type trucks for further transportation of packaged cargo.
